The Left conveniently ignores the science it doesn't like.

What would that be?
Genetic differences between the sexes.

Inheritability of intelligence.

What would that be?

In the 70s, some crazy libs / vegetarians persuaded the US government that the healthiest diet is one based on grains (plus vegetable oils). No scientific proof, just our of thin air, the liberal "scientists" came to a "consensus", scientists with doubts, concerned with lack of science supporting the conclusions were excluded.

Then the government spent decade after decade trying to prove this hypothesis, funding only research to prove the hypothesis (that always fell way short) de-funding any alternative theories or studies to disprove the hypothesis.

We are still there today, study after study coming back inconclusive, but the liberal dogma still stands...

We have epidemic of obesity and Type 2 diabetes, nation sick, health care costs through the roof, and liberals are still sticking to their dogma...

Liberals just love to form "consensus" on unproven, iffy subjects and turn the dissenters into pariahs, to be destroyed... (Very much like the Spanish Inquisition...)

Because there are much more urgent tasks at hand than proving the basic science. There is always rush to implement some government intervention on the basis of the "consensus"...

>> What would that be?

Like the scientific FACT that when you pay people not to work you will get more people not working. Or when you tax investment you will get less investment.

Or the entire field of Actuarial Science which tells us that Medicare is on the brink of collapse.

Or the insane, outrageous claims that fracking causes environmental damage with no scientific basis, whatsoever.

Or the rant against genetically modified crops, also with no scientific basis, whatsoever.

Or the irrational fear of nuclear power.

There are many other examples and I could easily write all night on the subject. But, I'll spare you and the thread from that torture. You get the idea.
