I'm just trying to think my way into a new picture of our politics given this election. I'll be all over the lot for a few days or weeks until I get my picture hung straight. Right now I'm just, strike the previous metaphor, just throwing up bits and pieces, sticking things to the walls, I don't know which metaphor but this notion of this sort of demographic coalition as a game changing source for presidential politics. Well all sorts of national politics. I need to think about its viability.
