you think the kennedys made their millions paying 91% in taxes, so if they made 400,000 they only walked away with 38,000 and they became millionaires ? really ? back then you could buy coal and gas LPs that had millions in tax lost carry overs, so you could buy a LP for say 2k and get a tax lost for 100k. I know it because my parents did it and so did the kennedys. no one paid 91% except for people who made money in the first year until the could buy tax lost carry over LPs.

It's not lying with statistics. When discussing income taxes, ss and med taxes are irrelevant. They're in another category.
