That may be something. But if the RNC wants to win the next election, fundraising isn't the biggest technical problem. Data mining is. The Left has a machine for gathering data that the GOP can't touch right now. There is no better way to get to voters -- particularly, young voters, than Facebook. And they need to start now and commit themselves to building a better machine before the next election. The news media is going to fight the GOP from now on. The news media can be marginalized through the use (some would say abuse) of the social media. It is just too big a resource to allow the opposition to have it while you don't.
