Oh, he won't be destitute, no doubt he got a nice cut of those hundreds of millions that passed through his hands. But those donors were promised a president that would do their bidding. Things didn't work out. I doubt if they will be as free with the money next time around. I am pretty sure Rove will be going into semi retirement after this election. His attempt to shut down Fox News after they called OH for Obama I believe will leave a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of the hoi polloi. As for his rich donors, I would suggest he shouldn't show his face around them for quite some time........years maybe. Nope, I envision a cushy teaching job for ole turd blossom...........at say Oral Roberts University.......shaping the minds of future Michele Bachmanns. Romney was Rove's pick from the beginning. Which was easy to understand, the others were scary loons. And if anyone could make the transition from far right, fire breathing conservative that they needed to be to get past the primaries into a moderate that they needed to be to actually win the election, it was Romney. Unfortunately, the whackadoodle wing of the party howled every time he tried to shape shift until the first debate. That was too late because even distracted voters noticed... In the beginning, Mitt didn't seem like that bad a choice........but then we had plenty of time to get to know him. And the more you got to know him, the uglier he became. I have never seen a tall man walk with such mincing steps.........but it was when he inadvertently let the mask drop either in the primaries or later, we got to see just what an asshole he really is. The coup de gras of course was when they leaked the video where he was talking about the 47%. After that, there was no pretense. It still surprises me that places like OH were so close. Many OH voters must still not realize that they were grouped in with that 47% number.
