Why are people talking about Elizabeth Warren as a presidential candidate in 2016? Nothing I saw in her Senate campaign (I live in MA) suggests that she would have broad national appeal.

Elizabeth Warren is the first Native American woman to be elected to the US Senate. Shouldn't Harry Reid, President Obama and the major media outlets commemorate this historic milestone? A huge ceremony at the White House would be appropriate, don't you think?
