To die with dignity means you get to die under your terms - not the terms forced on you by the government. It means your family can be with you and participate and isn't forced to find you dangling from a rope in the basement. You say, ...."to the extent any death is dignified" ..... suggest to me you haven't a clue as to what a dignified death is. So great; you live your life and then at the end suck senselessly from your saved money until it is gone and then become a ward of the State while you sit in a bed shitting your pants while blowing bubbles out of the spittle running out of your mouth! ....Yup, not very dignified, but you paid for that entitlement so you're damn well going to use it huh.
