Great, just came back from Silicon Valley, where half of the business real estate is vacant and dining and wining places are bellying up with only a few places left due to the lack of patrons.
What part of SV? It doesn't seem THAT bad to me, though there are indeed many parts of SV that are "rebuilding" in one form or another.

I remember when Clinton's Internet boom busted. All over Richardson, TX, you could bail hay in all of the asphalt parking lots of these abandoned beautiful glass castles of Lucent, Nortel, MCI, etc.

It is making a comeback, housing is reasonable again, and companies picked up the real estate for near nothing.
