I'm not quite at this place myself but I completely understand why people have stopped coming out to vote for Republicans. We elect a democrat president, Federal spending and debt goes up, regulations become more onerous, we become less free. We elect a republican president, Federal spending and debt goes up, regulations become more onerous, we become less free. I fully expected that under a Romney presidency, Federal spending and debt would have gone up, regulations would become more onerous, we would become less free. Did I say there's no difference between the democrats and the republicans? No. Did I say no republican in 75 years has done anything except talk about changing the direction we're headed in? Yes. Not even Reagan.
