Unemployment for 2 years is a strange idea. Too many people will decide to coast for 18 months, and then start looking for a job. Just be honest about it, and call 18 months out of 24 welfare. Long term unemployment is not a solution, unless your name is Nancy Pelosi.

We should give the Dems everything they want and make damn sure everyone knows it was 0bama's idea. Raise taxes like Hollande. The only way left to get through to these blockheads - it would seem - is to let them see it with their own eyes. Enough fighting for a slow death. Bring it to a head in 0bama's term. Then let the electorate decide.
