OK. Maybe that's why 3 million (or more) did not vote.
I was actually investigating that question lats night and in all of the swing states that I looked at Florida, Virgina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Colorado, Romney actually got more votes in 2012 than McCain in 2008.

The drop off in voting appears to have occur in states like California (down an amazing 25% from 2008),
New York, New Jersey and Texas.

So it was the places where the people were told that their vote didn't matter that that had lower turn out.
The swing states or battle ground states had increased number of voters this year.

IMHO the problem is that even a few religious conservatives such as Akin and Mourdock can be used as weapons against the Republican in the other states such as Wisconsin, Montana and Colorado.

So I'm looking for ideas to prevent them from harming the Republicans nationwide.
