I liked wireless for its portability, but it went through batteries quickly. And it got knocked off the desk a few times. When the USB receiver got glitchy and would not recognize either device, it was a bear to get the system to recognize it. After a few times of that, I was through.

If you like them, by all means get a new one.

M... what about the battery in your wireless mouse? Have you tried just replacing that first? I use a wireless for my laptop without a problem. Of course, it's only a few months old, but there isn't a whole lot that can go wrong with the thing. Just a thought.....
