The best investment decisions are based upon very simple ideas.

Right you are, and investing in MSFT over the last 12 years has been a huge road to nowhere. It's down almost 50% since January 2000.

Meanwhile, investors in AAPL have been richly rewarded in that same time period. It's up over 2,000%.

Get a clue, Zax.

MSFT continues to underperform after the release of Windows 8 and its ilk, while AAPL is well off its lows. Bahahaha! Proving that, once again, one need only do the opposite of what you suggest, Zax, to profit in the stock market.
