QNTM will be hurt more by WDC saying it will be "modestly profitable" for the fiscal year, which goes through June. Everyone knew WDC wanted to shift their mix into the high-end more. But WDC is also cutting production and WDC isn't the real problem child. As in the press release, its probably Fujitsu and Samsung (?). Note also that WDC was the last to transition to MR heads and that has hurt them more at this stage. SEG gets hurt because they are just plain inefficient.

This is a good test for management. QNTM needs to say something. This silence in the face of every bad PR from WR and SEG is killing shareholder value. Well, now we have some more "buying opportunity" at open. I'm hoping we have a spike down with rapid reaccumulation by the institutions that might know better about QNTM vs WDC.
