FEMA is a completely useless agency that should be disbanded immediately, and here's why... they're doing absolutely NOTHING in the northeast... FEMA says they won't do anything until the people speak with their own personal insurance company first... and the insurance companies are telling the policy holders that they won't do anything until they speak with FEMA first... both FEMA and the insurance companies are obviously trying to pinch pennies at the great cost of pain and suffering of the people who are now living there in third world conditions, e.g., no food, no water, no electric power, no toiletries of any kind, no sanitary conditions of any kind, and a third winter storm with below freezing temperatures is expected this week... Over the past week, a few of us in our neighborhood here in south Florida gathered blankets and warm clothing, water, canned foods, and some basic necessities and sent them to the people in the northeast, this was handled and paid for by the good people at the local Burlington Coat Factory... we probably did more to help the people in the northeast than FEMA... GZ
