Bob, I certainly can relate to a lot of that. But my question was more about the Tea Party itself. I have heard from several people that they can't stand the Tea Party because of the Tea Party's social views. I didn't even know the Tea Party HAD social views.

This is what the gays hate. They want our "acceptance," and won't settle for less. As a Libertarian, I can understand their POV. From a cultural POV, I think it degrades us. This makes it a political decision that will be decided by our Pols. I get very angry when our courts override our votes and allow it anyway. I am not willing to sell out on this issue to win elections.
