Does it seem odd that some of those who supported Ron Paul voted for Barack Obama?

Well, maybe Romney got painted by the wacko's on the tax issue... but the verbage that was being bandied about was that way too many people weren't paying any taxes and so weren't paying their fair share. The endless spewing by FOX and "bloggers" that the "Rich pay most of the taxes in this country" was laughable in that they REALLY thought this was some kind of "gottcha" that proved some point! In fact, a RON PAUL fan LOVES THE FACT that most people pay no taxes!! The severe right had a big problem with that as a review of endless drivel from many of SI's most WinggyNuttiest posters will attest.

Further, if his plan was to cut taxes for everyone then he didn't get that across at all, there were endless stories about how it would actually work... "work" being the important word:

bloomberg.com

From what I could see he couldn't enunciate simply what the hell he was doing... from that standpoint Steve Forbes or even H Cain's plan was at least understandable.

Ron Paul:

There are oodles of issue I differ with Ron Paul about, NONE of which he would EVEN TRY to pass. He would have NEVER EVEN BROUGHT UP issues like these cause he's smart enough to know not to waste his time:

* Zero income tax
* Sell the national parks
*Privitization of all sorts of stuff
* Legalization of all drugs
* etc.

In fact... if you notice HE NEVER BROUGHT ANY of this stuff up because he would be plenty busy doing things that are much more important.

I find it peculiar that a lot of wingnutz (left and right) seem to have this massive problem with ANYONE who isn't totally on board with their own whole program. Seems kinda lame to me as clearly that is EXACTLY the problem today... I guess many just can't see it for some reason.

A last word on tax rates... ITs BEEN FOREVER since they've been lower and look where we are!! LOL
