gary: I agree. I wish there were some numbers presented.
But this really is great news. And the Oregon Lottery continues to buy additional frads. This is the oddest thing I've seen in my years of investing. FSCX seems to have everything working for it right now, but the stock price trends lower.
Insiders are BUYING.
Technology is state of the art.
Frame Relay has taken off worldwide.
Salespeople from highly recognized companies are recruited and are at work.
News releases are all positive.
FSCX FRADS are blessed by most of the major players representing the largest Frame Relay Networks in the world.
And we still are not showing any earnings to speak of.
??????? WHAT GIVES??????
It's just not logical that with everything going on AND the Insider Buying, that there wouldn't be some very good $$ news coming very soon. I have been hearing for 9 months that the 3rd quarter (Begun Nov.1st) would be the breakout quarter. It was interesting to me that Michael Patrick, who seemed to have very solid info on FSCX for his brief period on this thread, also indicated that the third quarter was the Big Kahuna. So why has the stock dropped? Margin selling once it dropped below $5/share and tax related selling I suspect. But if we are about to get some contract news, the stock should have reached a bottom and now be ready to move forward.
I suspect that the 2nd quarter to be reported Dec. 12th or 15th, will show a loss again. My best guess for revenue is around 3 1/2 million. Showing a loss of about .10/share. From what I can see though, the street seems to be expecting more like 2 1/2 million in revenue and a loss of .15/share. If I'm right, then this will show why Maddsen and Co. have continued to be buyers of the stock, realizing what lies ahead from the third quarter going forward.
Good Luck to All. Rick..

gary: I just spoke to my FSCX source a few minutes ago...
While I hesitate to post this, I thought it would be to everyones benefit. I'm sure it will seem a little redundant but with all of the fluff anouncements of late, this may have gotten lost in the shuffle. You know what I know, so don't bother to bait me for more.<G>

Company Press Release
GTE Standardizes on FastComm Frame Relay Access Products
FastComm FRADs and WEB.router(TM) Products Are Approved for Access To GTE Frame Relay Services and Will Be Sold and Supported by GTE
IRVING, Texas/STERLING, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1997--

Note the part where it states "Will Be Sold and Supported by GTE" in reference to the FSCX Frads.
When I asked what this would mean in real $$ terms, my source said that they wouldn't say, but that it could be quite substantial and was what Maddsen has been expecting for some time. They seemed quite excited and suprised that the stock wasn't up big. I told them that we (investors) needed to see some numbers. They told me that they were going to be seen very soon.
It was frankly a little wierd because they didn't seem to care what my short term concerns were (also gave me no guidance on the 2nd quarter) and kept saying to keep an eye on the news wires. The tone of the conversation was confident, if anybody cares.
Good Luck. Rick..
