When I opened an account with my credit union, I had to give them a fingerprint in invisible ink. With such an ID, nobody can tell your race or sex. It should be a requirement for voting, and any arguments that it discourages people who are too feeble, poor, or whatever holds no water with me. There should be a computerized cross check with every single ballot. To me, it's fundamental. Absolutely.

The technology is in place; all that is lacking is the will to use it. And we all know why the will to use it is lacking--because some people want to cheat.
