It all depends on what you are doing, but it doesn't take a lot of horsepower to surf the internet. I built a Win7 box for my daughter, but my main computer is still Vista and I also have a XP computer and still use it most days.

Most corporations don't go to a new operating system until at least one or more service packs have been published. I also know what IT departments are like and they will disable a lot of the crap that has been put into Win8 Metro.

We are still very slowly transitioning people to W7, and they still hate the change.

Home users may like it; but business users, I think, don't appreciate change for no good reason.

We've got one W8 system which I haven't even laid eyes on yet. My son is doing the testing on it and he likes it, but the change doesn't bother him like it does most ordinary users. I
