Interesting side note. My desktop hackintosh will charge the Nokia 808 batteries via USB - using the accessory external battery charger or phone plugged in as is - even when the PC is turned off. Never dreamt of that cause my MacBook Pro behaves like it won't do that. (And neither will my Dell Mini 9 hackintosh.) No Mac that I know of can do that. Am I wrong about this? Do (some) desktop Macs charge peripherals via USB even they they are turned off (but obviously still plugged into the wall socket)?

So, Lumia dreamers, how many 920s do you think they had in stock, for starters? One or two? ;-)

Nokia Lumia 920 sells out in less than one day on Clove UK

Probably two, in my never humble opinion. One for demo, one to sell out of and brag about.

OK, been using the Mugen Extended Battery for Nokia 808 PureView for a week now. Beyond my dreams wonderful. Lasts forever, and I LOVE the added heft cause it helps me keep the toy steady, when making photos and videos. Killer combo, as far as I'm concerned. Also, as I suspected, now that the lens is recessed instead of sticking out, it's easier to keep my greasy fingers off it, and it's protected when set on a surface, lens down. Lovely!

How did I ever get by without this stellar machine? Can't remember.
