That is a good point. Either way employment is going to get whacked in many lines of work. Increasing employment costs will sooner or later cause the cost of services to rise.

How often are people going to go to McDonald's if they have to pay for the cost of insurance for the worker plus they have to pay for the cost of their own insurance?

If there are going to be more people insured, there is going to be a higher demand for medical services. Instead of 4 year degree in some useless liberal arts program, perhaps medical science will be a better investment.

Applebee’s is under the gun today after Zane Tankel, a franchisee whose company runs 40 New York-area restaurants, told Fox Business Network that a hiring freeze might be in the works.
