Your loins are girded, not with truth, but with the gross idolatry of Capitalism, Americanism, Conservatism, and Republicanism.

1. Capitalism - Wrong! Some years ago we moved into farm country and traded capitalism for self-sufficiency.

2. Americanism - Durn right! We have a whole lot of that. Americanism and Liberty permeates our home.

3. Conservatism - You are right again. We strive to be conservative in all that we do. Everything we have, we earned with our own effort. We have learned that developing and maintaining conservative and self-sufficient values has greatly increased our abundance. We gladly share our excess with others less fortunate and needy. We were surprised to learn our annual charity donations are significantly higher than Joe Biden's, whose earnings are many times higher than ours. On a % basis we donate more than Obama. Often working through our church and a war refugee church.
Is it true that all democrats follow their leaders and become greedy, little, self-serving, cheap bastards?

4. Republicanism - Wrong again. We are registered independents. We carefully place our votes for those candidates we believe have high personal moral standards and will best support the US Constitution and our individual freedoms, regardless of party affiliation. This year that meant we both voted a split ticket.
