i am surprised that no one had mentioned the potentially catastrophic consequence of the last week's taiwain's local election. the popular party that has been advocating the independence of taiwain won big. the chinese goverment has long been saying that it will use force if taiwain seeks independence, and reiterated this policy this morning. i am afraid that the worst of asia crisis is yet to come.

TA : great to hear from you. I was wondering(little concerned) where u were? I m partially in cash. My fingers get very itchy if i m in cash so i bot msftp @88 which is almost like being in cash. this willl be give me 9% . 2.5% div and 7-8% growth. search for Sonki's link list thread to get more info on Taxes, roth ira and msftPreffered. vvus: i only bot options (june.25), but now that u r back it confrims my investment in vvus. so I will buy stock on weakness. also bot corp. bond at a discount giving me 8.6%. matures in 2005. mostly cash in ira accounts untill i feel more sure.
