Fascinating discussion this morning about why Obama might've invited Petraeus as head of CIA. At the time, the general was one of a handful of people who represented a threat to O's re-election if he was invited as nominee of opposition ticket. Did the WH find a way to let him go now that O secured 2nd term? The leak that Petraeus's lover had secret docs on her computer is supposed to be false. Who would leak that lie and why would they benefit from it?
