I'm much less bullish on the dollar this week, but even a sideways move for the dollar could be disruptive for gold or silver. Who knows, I just think the downside for gold is equal to the downside for the S & P at any point in time. Last November, Gold slipped from 173 to 163 around this time of November. It could easily retest 162 or 157 near term - no reason why it can't move lower. Usually, I see a strong move in gold correlated to an increase in volatility aurrounding the VIX, which has now moved back from 19 to 16.
