I understand.

I was stating that the "normal" downtrend in the S+P averages about 2 months. We've seen them extend longer but for the past few years, the longest downtrend was 3 months.

With this in mind, I'm watching for a change in trend.....expecting it within 2 weeks but not locking into anything until it's either much more oversold or it's clear the trend change is in process.
