>> Ah yes. Cut taxes on the ultra wealthy in New York and California and suddenly all those folks in Mississippi will have jobs. Makes tons of sense.

What we do know is that tax increases kill jobs.

Are you with me on restoring the Hollywood tax cuts* and disallowing mortgage deductions on houses over $250K? Let's make the Hollywood and new media liberal billionaires pay their fair share and stop subsidizing their mansions.

*Restoring the 20% excise tax on films, CD's, DVD's, downloads, electronic & internet games, etc?

If the Bush tax cuts were such a bad idea, why is it that you only want to let the tax cuts on the wealthy expire? If they were such a bad thing....then they should all expire.

A family earning $250,000+ is ultra wealthy? Or are you referring to the super wealthy. The tax argument is has been on spin and calling people who are not very wealthy, wealthy for the sake of selling a tax increase.

RW,
Cut taxes on the ultra wealthy in New York and California and suddenly all those folks in Mississippi will have jobs. Makes tons of sense.

a) Both New York and California are "deep blue" states. Think about that.

b) When was the last time taxes were cut for the "ultra-wealthy" here in California?
