Looking at PMS assessments, its looks as if good OS systems alternate with bad systems out of Microsoft. I cant remember much of Windows 95, I was late to the party but found it really good. Likewise XP was a pig when it first came out, but by SP2 was almost a different system and I regard XP as a really good OS system now. XP is my alternate on a duel boot that runs software that need to get outside the OS system (Alcohol 100%, Paragon, Acronis) and software where I need multiple screens on XP as my vm player does not cater for multiple screens.
