How you figure pointing out that 2/3 of kids born to women under 30 are 'bastards' is like the virgin Mary, I don't know. Single mothers can already name a father and get him DNA tested for paternity and demand child support be enforced ... at least in TX. But you need the mothers cooperation and that isn't always forthcoming. Also there's no law requiring unwed children receiving benefits to be DNA tested.

And there's no DNA database of all males. The military DNA tests only for potential identification of deaths. Some states are thinking of or trying to DNA test felony arrestees but that won't include people not arrested or arrested for lesser crimes and the ACLU naturally opposes it. Even if courts allow it, will the database be available for paternity tests? We don't know.
