You've got to be kidding. Poor people don't have bank accounts. So cashing checks is not a factor. For the others, a social security number suffices. No picture ID required.

You have not provided any proof that in person voter ID is common. The DOJ under Bush spent 8 years trying to find it. They found 12 cases over a ten year period. 12. Over 10 years. And most of those were mistakes.

But, if you have some actual proof, I would be interested in seeing it.
