BuyS, The SpectraLogic home page has some of the info you are seeking, but it is limited, and a little biased toward Sony's product. I will try to find the URL later today or tomorrow. Pretty busy today. As far as tape library manufacturers, there is Overland, Breece Hill, a few other independents, plus CPQ, HWP and a couple of larger companies make their own or resell others with a widget or two thrown in to "distinguish" them. As far as "weathering the storm"--well I've been there/here before, unhappily. Amazingly enough, I'm still up pretty strongly for the year, but have lost bigtime in the past 2 months or so, so it doesn't "feel" like I'm up at all. Nonetheless, I am still optimistic--perhaps stupidly, but I don't think so. I still think QNTM will come out of this in pretty good shape, taking a longer view of things. I've had my portfolio chopped in half before, and have had it quadruple or better as well. The latter is better--no contest--but the former isn't the end of the world either. In times like this, I like to rent the movie "The Treasure of Sierre Madre"--remember the old man at the end, as the gold is blowing in the wind? Makes me smile every time I think about it. And "Badges? We don't got not badges. We don't need no stinkin' badges!" Greak flick, one of the best ever. Think I'll get it this weekend. Best, Sam
