In pushing for single payer health, the Democrats seem to think that we're going to end up with Sweden's health system. But given our population, we'll instead end up with Ireland's. For example, only 10% of the US population thinks that abortion should be legal in the last 3 months before birth, 86% think illegal. See en.wikipedia.org

It's not obvious to me why the liberals in California would want to have their health system determined by voters in Texas.
