Don't forget the two years before that too, which were EXACTLY on the predicted price, to 4 significant figures. <Incredible call. It seems to be oscillating above and below your price with a dampening effect designed to settle exactly on your price. > I think I must be supernatural.

This year was harder because of "hunting" [I mentioned at the time]. As is obvious to everyone, there is big stuff happening in the world of politics and money and these things can go awol any time when pressure builds enough.

But look at Qualcomm! Gold is so boring and in the end a loser. It just stupidly sits there doing nothing, costing money to keep, owners hoping it isn't stolen. At least Qualcomm is fun and does seriously incredibly unbelievably amazing things. Namely, the creation of the most significant thing since the invention of DNA a billion or so years ago [on Earth]. Gold lust simply sets off a quarrying Moai culture, with hordes of people diverted from doing useful things to excavating and finely grinding huge amounts of rock to get absurdly small amounts of gold which they store in bunkers and guard it, wasting a lot of perfectly good oil in the process.

QCOM has just zipped past INTC [Intel]. Intel was a monster since the 1970s. Now an also-ran. Everyone wants mobile Cyberspace and Snapdragon in the year of the dragon.
