Re serial murderers, if the numbers are down, that probably means the rate of solving such crime has gone up, so they get caught early on. Maybe it has. Here's a list. I know people here are not sexist, but there is something they nearly all have in common. I wonder if they can find that thing in common. en.wikipedia.org Those who don't have that characteristic committed another type of serial murder - children/babies/the sick. Hint - nearly all serial killers are not ladies. One thing that is not reported in that list is how many were male homosexuals. Set in Miami, the show's first season was largely based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, the first of his Dexter series novels. Subsequent seasons have evolved independently of Lindsay's works. It was adapted for television by screenwriter James Manos, Jr., who wrote the first episode.
