The worst part of reinstalling Windows 7 is the updates, they take a long time to complete

Really? I didn't notice that. I started the installation, left the room when it got started, and it seemed complete after about 5 minutes.

Maybe I haven't done the big "update" yet. It already update one small security feature, but that's it.

2 questions for ya!

1. I've been prompted to upgrade to Windows Explorer 9 instead of 8. Any opinion, is 9 better?

2. I like a download manager called Gigaget. If I try to download something using Windows Explorer, somehow Gigaget makes Explorer crash. If I try to download something using a browser I like called Slimbrowser, Gigaget works fine and manages the download. Any idea what might need to be tweaked to make Explorer work with Gigaget?
