More government spending can generate demand by providing jobs. Supply side economics does not work in most cases. We were told it would generate gobs of jobs. It didn't. The middle class has been in decline since Reagan, and income has shifted upward. And a recent study shows that the top marginal tax rate is only weakly, at best, correlated with productivity, investment, jobs and economic growth. It does, however, correlate strongly with shifting income upwards.

The only class warfare in this country has been the wealthy against the middle and lower classes. Our gini coefficient is in line with 3rd world countries, not a developed one. The decline of the middle class is a result of that.

You are just parroting Republican talking points that have been proven to not work as they have been claimed to.
