But still if you want to completely remove IE how do you do it? Becase Add/Remove programs doesn't clean the registry? And the Commercial Uninstallers won't touch it....ie like it's part of the operating system?

I didn't have a problem uninstalling IE 3.x, although it did leave some remnants in the registry. What parts are still there that are causing problems? I don't have a machine around with IE 3.x on it, so I can't really look at it, sorry.
