That can't last forever, unless your goal is for government to be the primary source of jobs.


Nobody is talking about forever. Of course it cannot, at least without fundamentally changing how our economy operates. As the economy improves, we can cut back on the deficits.


So how long is it going to take before we actually see an economy that doesn't rely on trillion dollar deficits? Four years? Eight years? Want to bring up FDR and how he supposedly didn't do enough "stimulus"?


Much of our deficit is because incomes took such a hit. That is starting to change. Although I also realize that for purely partisan reasons, there are those on the Right rooting for the economy to fail.
