Paul, thanx for the input. My business has kept me extremely busy lately and away from contributing meaningfully to the thread. Occasionally, I check out what's happening in the market and keep seeing the disk-drive makers warning about up-coming earnings. I shake my head & wonder if it's not just repitition and, unfortunately, it's not. This keeps any potential rally in check. You have to wonder about companies like WDC. What Michael Dell said about APPLE returning their shareholder's money seems to apply to WDC these days.But he had the good sense not to say it since he knows his component costs are dropping faster than his price reductions, thereby keeping his margins higher.
