No, not at all. Disposable, to me, means that they can't be repaired. If they develop a problem, you got to get a new one. Of course, how they're disposed of may be different going forward. And, that was the thrust of my post.

Lately, I've been holding out around 4 years before upgrading. Always an iMac, though. And, somewhere in the rear view mirror I started owning and upgrading 2 at a time, though not necessarily at the same time. I think that was during the Marathon 2 era.
