Melissa Harris Perry has a great special on how barbaric our prisons and drug laws are this morning. We liberals let the neo cons, right wing and the Bush's turn us into barbarians. Now that we dems and liberals have the power back we really need to get rid of these barbaric right wing ideas as soon as possible and be as aggressive as we need to be e.g stupid minimum laws for minor crimes and inhumane prisons. Get rid of private prisons.Cheney had a stake in a private prison in Texas that was indicted for some crime. A right wing judge let him go. The right wing does not understand so much stuff and only know one remedy PUNISHMENT. E.g. you get people educated and the prison population would shrink dramatically. Educate the people in prison don't use them for cheap labor. I have been pissed about the right wing's forcing draconian barbaric laws on us my whole life. We need more congress people like Warren and Berni Sanders that are willing to raise hell about our inhumanity. I have been fuming about the right wing for so long now I cannot believe we may actually be able to turn this country around at long long last. We need to be radical about flushing right wing inhumanity out of our society and replacing it with humane modern social ideas.
