This article conveniently leaves out the incredible burden of debt piled on Hostess by the two leveraged buyouts it underwent in the last 15 years. This debt, over 2 billion , waswhat drove the company into the gutter. the unions had already given up a lot and this last strike was done under duress by the workers. I understand the senior mgt. --if you can call them managers--- are walking out with tens of millions.
