Look, I realize that this is a core belief on the Right. But that doesn't make it true.

A good example was the Reagan administration. Deficit spending increased greatly under Reagan. That, combined with OPEC falling apart and the resulting decline in the price of oil and the killing of inflation was a perfect example of Keynesian economics at work.

The rising wage inequality seems to be the major impact of cutting the top tax rate, at least according to that CRS study. It has little effect on the economy.
