Stewart - Thanks for the article. I am going to hand out after my class Thurs. as a summary of current state of CDMA vs TDMA after discussing a case on McCaw's decision of CDMA vs. TDMA in 1990. By the way I'd like to take an informal poll. Since CDMA took 6 years to get here (after 1990) how many think that McCaw (now AT&T) made the right decision in going with TDMA? The argument is that it helped McCaw consolidate their first mover position in assembling a network with national coverage. The counter argument is of course all the technical advantages and lowered cost position for CDMA in a competitive world with PCS. I will report result to class as a those of a "ildly impartial body of technology enthusiasts"... Tom
