the student requests them to send copies to their chosen schools. You get a few for free, and then pay a modest fee for additional schools. Same for the MCAT, which I took several times.

GRE wasn't my most outrageous standardized test stunt. Neither was this one, (99 percentile again), altho a friend told me afterwards that I could be president if we chose them by test. Sounded good at the time. Now, being wiser, I'd miss a few questions on purpose.
