Omega Research good, but try Best Software:

OMGA at the low 5 level was a great pick, unfortunately my first purchase was @ 8 5/8. I bought a bit more at 7 1/4, then loaded at 5 5/8 (feeling bad I missed the 5 1/4 kind). Anyway I was selling at the 7 3/8 level. I am now out but will repurchase on pull backs.

Another stock worth noting for those looking for a 50%ish move is Best Software (BEST), check out the thread I started a week or so ago. My contact tells me there is $44 million in cash (4.19/share).
Estimates are 44 cents this year going to 56 cents.

Another poster queried me as to whether that amount is net of debt. I have a call in to my contact and as yet am uncertain. Check out the thread, the stock has recently based, cleaning up a significant seller who was obviously displeased that the stock was going down...imagine that when you are a large indiscriminate seller. But then again it is the large indiscriminate institutional sellers who provide opportunities for those who aren't worried about offsetting gains with a short-term loser when typically that same institutional seller has less than 1% of their investment portfolio involved and whose performance never reflects buying 100,000 shares of a stock at $13 and selling at $9...we should all be so lucky.

The stock has a SOES lot size of 200 shares so it can be difficult to buy in size, but for those that play in the 1000 share size you might need to buy a larger Christmas stocking. Bon Chance.

JHI

P.S. I am obviously long, so take the above with a grain or two of salt.
