Management gave themselves raises last July. It is almost like they were planning on filing for bankruptcy long before...

I can't imagine they wouldn't have had a pretty good idea where it was headed by then.

I am not anti-management. Just anti-stupid and corrupt management. I've worked for too many companies that management flew straight into the ground, then blamed the employees for their failure.

Unions do not serve anyone's interests, except the few who are their members. They're bad for consumers and bad for labor, and there is no better illustration of this than the unions killing the Twinkie.

have you every been in a union, have you ever been an officer in a union. I have. you should hear what goes on behind closed doors. Unions run companies and jobs into the ground. the officers don't care about the companies their union guys work for, they have nothing but contempt for them

I used to tell the other union officers, why don't unions start companies, they looked at me like I was crazy.

because those companies would never win a bid or make a profit
