the fiscal cliff may be a red herring dressed up to be a whale, as the empire is not as weak as not able to simply lift the ceiling and print some more it is not as if there are real bond vigilantes out there there are only equity mobs out there the middle east situation is ... well, a mess, but confined, so far to just that neighborhood and with a few less players than before (less libya, plus egypt, less iraq, plus iran, less saudi arabia, plus turkey, less ..., plus ...) and generally no biggies so far blue sky until feb, and then watch n brief and see
