Hi John:

Thanks for your view of the Delta PI. Ended we all lost few nerves waiting patent and explanation of the Delta *advantage* in PI designee. I do not have read claims and whole patent, but from patent abstract:

>>Serine protease inhibitors are provided comprising compounds having a P site binding moiety and a divalent cation(s) chelating moiety which are pre-prepared as divalent cation(s) complexes or combined with the serine protease in the presence of divalent cation(s). The compounds are shown to have high inhibitory activity when complexed to divalent cation(s) and find use in various processes associated with serine protease isolation and inhibition.<<

appears that inhibitor is organic complex between small molecule and divalent cation. This approach is new, for me. The question: *Is metal ion (naturally available: Zn, Mg, Co,...) present in cells/plasma or is incorporated during formulation/manufacturing of the PI complex, is actually my concern.

Giving the facts that metals complex are much stronger (binding energy) than H-bonds complex, this combination, I guess, have promising future. I do not have biology training to judge physiological application/problems, but to me sound interesting and attractive.

More when I read full patent/announced manuscript in journal.

John;
Could you or someone else put Delta and this patent into terms that an average person can understand. While the anouncement sounds great the stock has moved very litte.
My interest in ARRS has developed only since the announced merger, so while I have a real interest in ARRS I have very little background or understanding of the co. and don't understand Delta at all.

Thanks and Good Investing!
Steve
